First Meal in a Korean Home

Once upon a time, the Sunday after Thanksgiving to be exact, Team Jacquot was invited to dinner at their neighbors'/landlords' house.

Brody wasted no time finding the comfiest seat in the house. He's armed with a Korean/English dictionary. Let's DO THIS!

Would you look at that spread (from left to right); yak bap, kim bap, long, clear noodles made out of potatoes, and a beef dish they call frugolgi (sp?).

Time to dig in!

The entertainment of the evening was Mr. Yu's son, Shiek (sp?), on the classical guitar.

Even the boys got a chance to play.

Whoops! Brody took a spill and gave himself a bloody nose. Mr. Yu pinched the fire out of Brody's right pinky nail bed (because it was Brody's left nostril that was bleeding) and it stopped the nosebleed almost instantaneously.

Beth closed out the evening by tickling the ivories.

And the crowd went wild!
