Here are a few pics from last week at Scott and White. Zane is opening and playing with gifts from our fabulous friends, the McCormick's. They sent a package to the hospital by mail which was a real nice treat for Zane. He got lots of great gifts from friends and family while initiating his diet. Thanks to all of you!
This last one is an example of what he had to eat and to some degree still eats on a daily basis. The cup on the top left is straight heavy whipping cream, the middle cup is straight butter and the bottom cup is unsweetened applesauce. The protein in that meal comes from the chicken breast which was no doubt cold and dry. Now that we are home we do what we can to spice things up. I'm sure in the future I will be able to share more pics of his meals to give you an idea of what he eats.
In other news, Zane was seizure free yesterday and again today. He woke up on his own this morning at 5:40. Yes, that's earlier than necessary but we can play with his bedtime a little bit to achieve a more desirable wake-up time in the morning. He generally sleeps 11 hours a night. The important part is that he woke up on his own. He is doing great in school. His teacher says he really seems to be enjoying himself. He came home in a great mood today and is currently playing Star Wars with Daddy on the couch. I'm off to plan his dinner.

Makes my day that Zane is doing so much better. I'll reserve my comments on his plate and meal. Except for ERRGH!! But it is to his credit and yours that he eats it and does so much better. Thanks for the pic's. Brody looks so much like Zane most of the time, in most of the pictures. LOVE the pictures. And love all of you. Keeping up the prayers and sending my love to you, --Granny
