Quick Update

We've seen a noticeable increase in seizure activity this week over last. In fact, Zane has had more than 3 times the amount of seizures this week. This may be directly related to cutting his Keppra dosage starting last Sunday. We reduced his morning dose by half and kept his nighttime dose the same. I spoke to Dr. Crisp today and we are going to put him back at the full dose in the morning. Hopefully this will turn things around. That doesn't mean we won't be able to wean him off the Keppra in the future. It just may be premature at this point.
