Strawberry season is approaching. I picked up a package of them about 3-4 weeks ago and they tasted like dirt...or grass, I'm not sure which. Zane ate a few of them without complaint but I decided it was best to wait a bit longer. So today I tried another package and they actually tasted a bit like strawberries. They can only get sweeter and cheaper from here, right?

I picked up a batch a couple of weeks ago and I agree, they just didn't taste right. I can't wait to go "pick" some of our own.
When do you visit the strawberry farm near your house? I want to try that this year. Claire would love it!
