Something exciting that has come about in the past few days is that we know Zane's Keto ratio is going to change in August. He is going from a 4:1 to a 3:1 which means his carbohydrate allowance will increase rather significantly. More importantly is that this is the beginning of weaning off the diet!!! Obviously it will be a gradual process but his Dietitian plans to have him off the diet by August of '09! That is music to my ears. It means he can start kindergarten with a normal diet and he can celebrate his 6th birthday with cake and anything else his heart desires. I can't stop daydreaming about it. And with as busy as we are going to be the through July, August will be here before we know it.

I wonder if he will miss his "magic diet"? He seems so proud of it, and the it is just his.
Congratulations to the guy! More than likely the magic diet will be forgotten when cake comes into play!
And congratulations to you and Abe as well for being so diligent. I know it's been difficult for y'all as well.
