I've had a long overdue heart to heart with a dear friend. I was afraid there was nothing left to salvage, but I was wrong. We still feel very deeply about each other and respect each other enough to give it another go. Talks like that are often difficult to initiate but in the end it is good for the soul. I am on top of the world and my friend, she's right there beside me!

It sounds like some sort of drama descended upon you, but I am very glad that it is over and that you spoke with your friend. That is always nice when it works out.
